Why is care for your exotic animal important?

While it's obvious to dog and cat owners that regular vet care is a must, many people don't realize that exotic animals also need to see a veterinarian regularly. Just like dogs and cats, exotic pets are susceptible to a wide range of health problems, and early detection and treatment are often the keys to a successful outcome. At Eagle Animal Hospital, we recommend that all of our exotic animal patients come in for annual wellness exams. These comprehensive exams allow us to assess your pet's overall health, identify any potential problems, and provide recommendations for keeping your pet healthy and happy.
