Kennel Director

Rachel

Rachel joined the Eagle Animal Hospital team in August of 1990. Boasting nearly three decades of experience working as a kennel attendant and then director, she is skilled at gaining the trust of fearful or anxious dogs via calm and assertive handling. In addition to serving as a shift supervisor for our five kennel assistants, Rachel also assists with walks, baths, feeding, administering medications, and cleaning—anything to maintain the “overall health of (our) boarding animals.”

When it comes to choosing her favorite part of the job, Rachel says she likes it all. “I enjoy caring for dogs and cats and all that entails,” she says. “My family has been going to Eagle for fifty years.”

At home Rachel has four cats (Moth, Ginger, Screamy Dan, and Dozer) and a miniature Dachshund named Missy. She enjoys weightlifting, hiking, bird watching, studying insects, and shooting. She also loves baseball.
