Our In-House Diagnostic Laboratory
At Eagle Animal Hospital, we utilize our state-of-the-art IDEXX in-house laboratory to screen and test for a variety of diseases and other conditions affecting your pet's health and well-being. This technology allows us to perform complete blood counts, chemistry profiles, electrolytes, urinalysis, fecal exams and cytology evaluations. While avoiding invasive and expensive procedures, we can gather important information about your pet's overall systemic health quickly and in-house. We have invested in our laboratory for these reasons and to minimize the time you need to wait for an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. It would be difficult to make an accurate diagnosis or assessment of your pet's health without timely access to these precise test results.
Digital Veterinary Radiographs
To provide you with the highest-quality veterinary care for your pet, Eagle Animal Hospital has invested in a state-of-the-art digital X-ray machine. There are many important advantages to digital X-rays:
- We can view them immediately on a computer monitor
- We can manipulate the clear, detailed images to get a better view
- We can provide a faster and more accurate diagnosis
- We can email them to specialists for second opinions when needed
Advanced diagnostic capabilities are an extremely important part of veterinary medicine, in part because we can't simply ask our patients what is wrong. Our investment in digital X-ray technology reflects our commitment to offer you and your pet the best, most comprehensive healthcare available.
Telemedicine: Medical Consultations Just One Call Away
For certain complex medical cases, Eagle Animal Hospital utilizes telemedicine. Telemedicine is the provision of health care by phone or computer. With telemedicine, we can offer you and your pet access to even more comprehensive medical care by connecting with doctors and specialists who can lend their expertise in the research, diagnosis, and treatment of specific cases. Through telemedicine, we can provide medical consultations via phone.
